- We deliver our made to order fresh ingredients to each Sal’s Pizza location in our own fleet of trucks and vans.
- Soft, fresh dough, select vine-ripe tomatoes, hand-shredded mozzarella cheese and premium toppings give Sal’s Pizza its signature taste.
- The Margherita Pizza was founded in 1889 in honor of Queen Margherita Teresa Giovanni. This delicious pizza is made with tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese and basil. It was designed to represent the colors of the Italian flag.
- We hand shred 100% mozzarella cheese everyday and never coat the fresh cheese with an anti-clumping powder that burns the cheese during cooking.
- Steeped in old world tradition from Italy, Sal’s Pizza uses family recipes and fresh ingredients.
- Sal’s grandparents came to America in the 1930’s and opened a pizza concession stand on Revere Beach in 1940 using family recipes.

Family owned and operated since 1990.

What has made Sal’s Pizza such a unique and successful pizza restaurant? It was probably a combination of having the freshest ingredients, competitive prices, and a giant, delicious 3-pound big slice pizza. CEO Sal Lupoli’s quest to create the best pizza started during a culinary apprenticeship in Boston's North End, home to more than 100 authentic Italian eateries. It was here that Sal got the idea for the business that would eventually grow to more than 40 locations in Arizona, California, Florida, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.

Between all of our Sal’s locations, we make over 40,000 pizzas every week! We’re also constantly expanding, and looking for new opportunities to grow. We would love to speak with you if you’re interested in more information about opening a Sal's Pizza franchise.

Along with our big slice pizza, we also offer smaller pizzas, salads, buffalo wings, calzones, and our own special creation: the Salzone, which is basically an open-faced sandwich topped with cheese. For our Sal’s Pals, we periodically offer coupons and discounts to make our already great value an even better deal (see above to sign up).
